Who we are

We are graduates in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design from Warsaw University of Technology. PWTECHNIC combines two passions: automation and agriculture. Our expertise in machine vision and advanced mechanical systems enables us to develop innovative, thoughtfully designed solutions that remain accessible to users.

Our products are intuitive and users will have no difficulty in using them.

Labour shortages make it difficult to carry out crop-care work on time. Cutting strawberry runners by hand takes many hours and adds employment costs. On larger farms, this becomes a significant burden.

Mechanising repetitive work reduces manual labour and makes better use of the available team’s time. It also gives you more freedom to plan work during the busy season.

A repetitive task worth streamlining

The FC machine is designed to mechanically cut strawberry runners on plastic-mulched beds. It cuts while travelling along the row, helping farms reduce the labour required for this task.

Single- and double-row versions, plus an optional trimmer, let you match the machine to your plantation system.

When could the machine pay for itself?

Compare your current cost of cutting strawberry runners or weeding with the cost of using your own machine. Enter your rates to estimate the payback period.

Enter all amounts net of tax, as in the catalogue. The cost per hectare applies to one operation. If the same hectare is treated several times in a season, each operation is counted.

You can enter the price from your quotation.
Area covered by one operation.
How many times do you carry out the operation on this area?
Manual labour or contracted service cost for one operation.
Include fuel, operator, tractor use and wear parts. Exclude the machine purchase price.
For example, fixed servicing or insurance if not already included in the per-hectare cost.
How is payback calculated?

Savings per season = area × number of operations × (current cost per ha − own-machine cost per ha) − other seasonal costs.

Payback period = purchase price ÷ savings per season. This is a simple estimate assuming unchanged costs and area in subsequent seasons. It excludes financing, taxes, subsidies, resale value and additional revenue. Compare the same scope and quality of work. If savings are zero or negative, the calculator shows no payback.

Our SMARTBEAM robot - project

The project aims to introduce a global product innovation: a robotic agricultural machine linking a tractor with conventional weeders.

The aim of the project is to develop a niche in the agricultural machinery market by introducing a robotic product to the market that is an economically available solution that automates the process of weeding row crops. As a result of implementing the planned activities in the Eastern Poland macroregion, a dynamically developing production company will be created, offering a globally innovative product.

This goal will be achieved by implementing the business model created as part of the incubation process of sub-measure 1.1.1 of OP EP.

As part of the project:

  • there will be a machinery park dedicated to the internal production of robotic devices,
  • its final optimization will be carried out, including field tests,
  • the first test series will be produced,
  • marketing activities will be carried out to achieve economies of scale.

Total value of the project: PLN 1,243,751.49
Funding amount: PLN 935,577.99
